  • This is for event + membership sign-up. Membership price is $95, and Special Event Pricing for current members is $95. You will be asked to confirm that you have read and agreed to our Code-of-Ethics, posted on the Membership link of our website. A link will be provided.

This 2-day course (9am-5pm, Saturday and Sunday) meets the Washington State 6hr training requirement for the new Certified Counselor credential, covering risk assessment, ethics, appropriate screening using the Global Assessment of Functioning (GAF) scale, client referral, and Washington State law.  Further, it is relevant to all counseling practitioners in the State of Washington who wish to strengthen their skills in professional practice. Continuing education credits are provided with this training.  This course does not include the 4hr HIV/AIDS training requirement.
