  This 1-day course (8:30am-5pm, Saturday) meets the Washington State requirement for the new Certified Counselor and Certified Adviser credentials, covering risk assessment, ethics, appropriate screening using the Global Assessment of Functioning (GAF) scale, client referral, and Washington State law, as defined in WAC 246-810-0221.  Further, it is relevant to all counseling practitioners in the State of Washington who wish to strengthen their skills in professional practice.

  Each event participant must be registered under their own name and email address to receive their Certificate of Completion.  Duplicate or multiple registrations under the same name or email address are not allowed, and will be canceled without notice.
